ONE: A Face Behind The Numbers was written for two reasons. Number one, we wanted to create awareness and inspire people to engage these social issues. Secondly, we wanted to raise funds to actually help the people that we write about in the book. All proceeds from this book go towards 4 charitable projects:
- Building a school in Dominican Republic
- Building a children’s home in Thailand
- Building homes in Mexico
- Motivational presentations in Canadian schools
Fundraising with ONE
Individuals or groups that are engaged in charitable fundraising, can now purchase bulk quantities of ONE: A Face Behind the Numbers, at wholesales prices and resell them. This is a great way to raise money for Hero Holiday trips or to help build a school or home in a developing nation. ONE is very easy to sell as people are eager to buy this beautiful book because works so well as gift item.
Here is how to get started raising money with ONE:
- Send an email to one@absolute.org. Explain the cause that you are raising funds for. Provide the contact information for someone who can verify your fundraising plan (ex. teacher or principal).
- Once we approve you, we will take your order and send the books to you. You can either pay up front for the books, or a deposit will be required.
- Any unsold books can be returned, you only pay for what you sell.
- All books will be shipped to you free of charge, and shipped back free of charge.
